Minimum tillage for Cassava, no plough and no ridging

26 May

We are cancelling the soil preparation (disk plough and ridging) using only a chisel plough for cassava planting. We are able to preserve the soil resources avoiding the soil erosion and a high soil organic matter mineralization. Cassava should also be conducted under rotational sequence with maize under no-till cropping systems.
